Such an unselfish act. To except that you will have things happen in your life, and you have to make the best of it no matter what. To not care about your own feelings, wants, desires, and ambitions in life. To just let life deal you a hand in a game of "five card stud", and except that you have everything to gain, and everything to lose. Human nature does not except this idea. It is a learned way of life. If I could live half my life this way, then I should be twice as happy than before where I was only partially fulfilled in what should be complete.
